San Francisco Partner Dominic Campodonico Appointed to IADC Foundation Board of Directors and Chair of the 2020 Convention

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani San Francisco Partner Dominic Campodonico will serve on the International Association of Defense Counsel's (IADC) Foundation Board. Campodonico was appointed by the IADC Board of Directors to be an at-large Foundation Board member. A total of five attorneys from around the world were elected or appointed to this year's IADC Foundation Board.  In addition, to Campodonico's new role on the Foundation Board, he was also appointed to serve as the IADC 2020 Convention Chair.

The Foundation of the International Association of Defense Counsel dedicates itself to globally advancing the rule of law and access to justice. Their mission is to support the rule of law and access for all to a fair and just legal system through education and research, strategic partnerships, and relevant projects. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is education. 

Campodonico has more than 20 years of experience serving as national litigation coordinating counsel, regional counsel, and local counsel in mass tort, product liability litigation. He has represented manufacturers and distributors of a variety of pharmaceutical, medical device, and laboratory products in litigations as well as risk assessments. He has been involved in many California Judicial Council Coordinated Proceedings and has served as Defense Liaison Counsel. Campodonico has significant experience handling wrongful death and other catastrophic injury litigation, and has developed an extensive network of prominent experts in many sciences and technologies.  He also assists his clients with high-stakes matters that frequently occur simultaneously with product liability litigation, such as risk management and compliance, FDA/regulatory issues, government investigations, suits under the federal and California False Claims Act, insurance, and crisis communications.
