Kristin Reyna DeHart and Brandon D. Saxon Recognized as 2023 Leaders of Influence in Law by San Diego Business Journal

San Diego Assistant Managing Partners Kristin Reyna DeHart and Brandon D. Saxon were recognized as 2023 Leaders of Influence in Law by the San Diego Business Journal ("SDBJ") in its Leaders in Law issue. They will be honored at the San Diego Business Journal 2023 Top 100 Leaders in Law Awards on October 17, 2023.

The SDBJ Leaders of Influence in Law awards are designed to recognize the legal contributions of leading lawyers and law firms passionately serving San Diego's diverse and innovative business institutions. The winners were selected out of many nominations for their dedication to their clients and their strategic and thoughtful approaches to litigation and counsel.

Ms. Reyna DeHart serves as Assistant Managing Partner of the firm's San Diego office. She is Co-Chair of the firm's Environmental & Toxic Tort practice group, specializing in the defense of complex environmental claims, toxic tort, and product liability claims. She regularly assists clients with environmental investigations and removal/remedial actions on their properties and counsels clients on environmental compliance issues. Ms. Reyna DeHart also regularly performs environmental due diligence work in real property and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. She has both trial and appellate experience with toxic tort/personal injury exposure claims and complex environmental soil, groundwater, sediment, and well contamination property damage claims. 

Mr. Saxon serves as Assistant Managing Partner of the firm's San Diego office, where he is the Chair of the office’s Employment practice group. He is also the Assistant Chair of the firm’s National Employment Group. Mr. Saxon's practice focuses on a wide range of civil litigation matters including the defense of companies and employers in employment and commercial-related actions. He has litigated a number of matters to successful resolution in both state and federal courts and has experience in a variety of heavily regulated practice areas. He also provides advice and counsel in assisting companies and organizations with developing and instituting policies and procedures to avoid litigation.
